Career Development Academy, LLC (CDA) provides career education and training to youth and early career talent. Our mission is to help sustain our economy by providing the next generation of workers with essential skills to navigate in the world of work.
Our future workforce depends on youth having essential skills to thrive and grow. Not investing in youth development has a substantial economic impact. Our career training programs harness youth and early career leadership skills. When we don’t invest in our youth today, it can contribute to costly problems in our economy, such as violence, early school dropout, and high unemployment.
Our mission is to develop programs tailored to youth development to advance socio-economic development. The framework of our training programs is centered around the holistic approach to career development. We use real-world applications in our delivery so students are aware of job and behavior expectations. Students learn the importance of accountability and soft skills needed to grow and thrive in life and career.

Why Is Soft Skills Training Important?
Employers desire more soft skills from their workforce in order to achieve long-term business growth and success. Soft skills reflect your personal attributes that enable you to engage well with other people. A key part of this is the importance in developing your interpersonal skills which is how we interact with other people.
More businesses are realizing a need to place more value in relationship building. An increased number of workplace conflicts continue to rise resulting in low employee morale and productivity that can be costly for any business. Learning how to interact with people especially in the workplace is a skill individuals should invest on improving for their own personal brand.
Our training program guides students in interactive soft skills training exercises using real world scenarios and applications. We understand the unique challenges some of our students face when entering the workforce.
Building Skills for a Brighter Future
