Augusta University Office of Career Services Welcomes Soft Skills College Tour
Our Spring 2018 Soft Skills College Tour took to the road to visit the campus at Augusta University.
A wonderful partnership with Office of Career Services, we hosted the Dress For Success Workshop including Clothing Closet.
Affordable Attire is important for students to build confidence as they transition from college to career. Many students are in need of affordable career wardrobe. This tour show students options for shopping career clothes affordably.
Wardrobe stylist help students with styling; including a male stylist helping students learn how to tie a tie.
The goal of the tour is to educate students on the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Competency of Professionalism and Work Ethic to ensure the attainment and demonstration of this competency. To also emphasize the importance of professional dress and what this means for various workplace environments. Students learn to identify the many types of professional dress (business professional vs business casual).
Students walked away understanding the importance of building your professional brand as a prospective employee.
